Clergy of Saint Laurence’s Church

The Revd Andrew Allen, our Team Rector
     St. Mary's Rectory , 34 Upton Park, Slough SL1 2DE. Tel. (01753) 529988
     E-mail: andrewallen@fastmail.fm

Although most people were surprised when they heard that Andrew was moving from Brixham in
Sunny South Devon where he was the Team rector of Brixham to Slough it is very much a home
coming for him. His home town is Reading and Fr. Boult who served in Chalvey was largely
responsible for encouraging his priestly vocation.

Andrew will be out and about so if you see him on foot or his bike please do stop him and have a
chat. He will be very pleased to meet you.

He can scarcely believe that the team his dad used to drag him to see at Elm Park in the old 4th
division is the same one doing so well in the Premiership (at the moment).
